The moment I landed in my randomly generated world I was struck by an immense appreciation for the paper-cutout graphical style and whimsical presentation. The game will also feature a new story mode, ongoing live support and much more.Some adventurers will view this freedom as a liberating canvas on which they can express their patience, creativity, and bravery, but this complete lack of direction or goals beyond simply staying alive prevented me from ever really bonding with Don’t Starve.

The closed beta was limited to players in Canada. A Closed Beta Test was originally planned for July 2020, however it was delayed until October 22, 2020, and ended on November 5, 2020.
